The UTPA Small Business Development Center offers specialized technical assistance to individuals interested in obtaining government and private contracting opportunities; and exporting and importing goods and services.

For individuals interested in procurement opportunities, SBDC offers information on how to certify a business as minority-owned; as well as opportunities to meet government agency buyers.

Individuals can also attend the HUB Certification Seminar to learn how to have their businesses “minority certified” in the state of Texas to compete for bids / proposals for various state agencies.
