

The UTPA SBDC is part of a nationwide organization of
Small Business Development Centers designed to provide the
business owner with training, counseling, research, and
other specialized, technical assistance at nearly 1000
locations nationwide. The program is a cooperative effort by
the private sector, the educational community, and the
public sector.
It enhances economic development by providing small
businesses with management and technical assistance. Each
center is staffed with qualified, certified business
counselors and training coordinator, all under the
supervision of seasoned management. All SBDC centers offer
one commodity - excellence in business counseling and
training!

Hidalgo, Cameron, Starr, and Willacy counties.
